Gaiam and Planet Green launching New Line of DVDs

he"Gaiam, Inc., the leading distributor of lifestyle media in the fitness and wellness market, and Planet Green, the first and only 24-hour television network exclusively dedicated to environmentally conscious living, have introduced a new line of DVDs focusing on sustainability in an easy and affordable way. The DVDs range from how to green your home on a budget to how to raise your child in an eco-friendly environment to documentaries of real-life people implementing green building techniques."

Planet Green and Gaiam share the common goal of spreading the benefits of eco-friendly living and sustainability,” said William S. Sondheim, President of Entertainment and Worldwide Distribution for Gaiam Inc. “It was a natural choice to partner together to release co-branded DVDs to educate consumers on how simple it is to adopt a green lifestyle.”

“Kelly Day, Chief Operating Officer Discovery Commerce said, “This partnership with Gaiam is a natural extension of Planet Green’s entire purpose: To help people who want to understand green living so that they can make a difference in meeting the critical challenge of protecting our environment on their own terms.”
