Christmas Shopping at CSN Stores

It's almost Halloween- just a little over a week away.

You know what happens after Halloween right?

Time seems to speed up... until suddenly... before you know it... it's Christmas.

At least that's what always seems to happen with me.

No matter how early I start shopping the holidays sneak up on me and I am always in a mad dash to get those last presents before Christmas Eve.

This year I am trying to be organized.

CSN Stores is helping. With over 200 stores to shop at they have a little bit of everything...including upholstered headboards.

I've been staring at my boring bedroom for months now trying to decide what to do with it. I know it needs a fresh coat of paint. I think I could also use a headboard.

I don't know if I actually want an upholstered headboard or not. I kinda like this tufted leather one (pictured above) but I think it's a little too masculine for what I want to do with my bedroom. It's always an option though.

I know I see several other items that are going on my bedroom makeover wish list even if I am supposed to be Christmas shopping right now (you can see how easily I am distracted, it's no wonder the holidays sneak up on me:-).

Have you seen any wonderful things you'd like to get at one or several of the CSN Stores?

Well you might want to start looking because I am going to be posting a CSN Stores Christmas shopping giveaway soon.

So be sure to stay up to date on the site so you know when the contest goes live.

A Review of the Rub a Dub ABC 123 Bath Toy

I received this Rub a Dub ABC & 123 bath toy from Growing Tree Toys.

They have a huge selection of learning toys available for all ages.

Here's the Rub a Dub ABC bath toy description from the Growing Tree site:

"Rub a Dub ABC and 123 from Alex brings the classroom to the bathtub! With Rub a Dub ABC and 123 bath toy, kids love that they can build words and numbers with these soft foam shapes that stick to the tub or tile when wet. Alex Rub a Dub ABC and 123 is the great bath toy that includes 2 multi-colored sets of alphabet letters and a set of numbers 0-9 – that makes 62 different pieces with which to play!"

My little guy loves having something new to play with in the tub. It's great having something that's not just fun but educational as well. He learns while he baths.

We've been working with him on his ABC's and 123's getting him ready for kindergarten next year- now we have one more way to work with him.

Who would have thought you could teach in the tub?

Splish splash we were taking a bath while learning our ABCs

Rub a dub we're splashing in the tub counting our 123's

That's the little song I made up to sing while playing with the toys in the tub, my Robby loves it.

Bath time used to be a chore- not anymore. My four year old can't wait to get in the tub and start counting and spelling. Pretty soon he'll be able to spell his name with the letters. He's almost there.

Maybe after a couple more baths.

The Rub a Dub toys is made by Alex toys which offers several other bath toys and many arts and crafts kits.

I received this toy for review at no cost to me courtesy of Growing Tree Toys blog sponsorship program.

Shopping with CSN Stores

When I was offered the opportunity to review for CSN Stores I was so excited to get the chance I couldn't wait to find something to purchase then once I started looking for searching I became overwhelmed and it took me awhile to decide.

I mean- Wow- CSN Stores has over 200+ stores to choose from.

Bedding, bookcases, lighting, toys, almost anything and everything you could possibly want.

Searching through the stores I finally decided on this Green Gourmet 12 inch non-stick skillet made by Cuisinart.

I have a 10 inch and absolutely love it. My husband is always going on and on about how he wishes we had more of these Green Gourmet pans so when I discovered CSN offered them for sale I grabbed it.

The Green Gourmet pans are made with a non-stick coating that is environmentally friendly no dangerous Teflon or other chemicals.

Here's the official pan description:

I couldn't be happier with my choice- this pan is awesome.

I also picked a Sandisk memory stick so I can use my Sony digital camera. I hate that Sony can't just make a camera that uses a regular sd card no they have to make cameras that require memory sticks. Well I finally got one so I can use the Sony- or my husband can. That's the camera her prefers.

So technically I just bought two items for the hubby. Oh well if it makes him happy it makes me happy.

And CSN has definitely made me happy. I see so much that I am adding to my Christmas list for myself, the hubby and the kids.

How could I not with so much to choose from?
