How This Writer Brings In The Green by Rose Wynters

Thank you for having me at The Creatively Green Write at Home Mom. I'm really excited to be here! I am a huge fan of green living. Not only is it good for the environment, but it's good for the person doing it as well. It just feels great to know that you are doing your part for a better world. If we all work together, we can see change!

I have to say that I am definitely a nature person. I love gardening, camping, and fishing, and I hope this is something that our future generations will be able to enjoy as well. I have a true appreciation for our farmers, and love heading over to the local farmer's market to pick out fresh fruit and vegetables, especially the organic ones.

In my day to day life, here are some ways that I like to live green.

1.     Use energy-efficient light bulbs. These are a bit pricier than your average pack of four, but last so much longer! I have one of these bulbs that is three years old, and it's still going strong! They save you money on your light bill as well.
2.     With modern technology, I don't have to use much paper. My books are written on the computer, and most of my communication is done through email. When I do have to print various things out, I use the fronts and backs of each sheet.
3.     Another easy tip that's great for your electricity bill is simply turning things off. When I'm not using the computer, I turn it off. I do the same with my TV, lights, and even cable box! When the weather is great, I turn off the central heat or air. There is nothing I love more than the gentle breeze of a slightly cool spring day. This reduces the amount of energy you use, which is better for our world.

These are just some simple ways to contribute to green living. They make a great start and an even greater contribution to our environment.

In my book Rubenesque Rapture, Anna loves nature as well. It's one of the things she will miss most about Alaska. She really enjoyed the peacefulness of life in the cabin she shared with her mom. Las Vegas is quite a switch!

I really appreciate getting the chance to share some about my life. What are some of your tips in regards to living the green life? I'll be checking back here on the comments, and I look forward to meeting you!

About the Author :

I've always had a love of the paranormal and romance, and I'm a true romantic at heart. I love taking romance to the highest of highs and the lowest of lows. The hotter the better! You're going to see some pretty wild and crazy stuff in my books, so be prepared!

When not writing, I enjoy traveling and exploring the mysteries of the world. I also like to camp, swim, and even fish. I'm a firm believer that life is meant to be lived, not passing you by!

I have several books that will be released this year. I'm currently working on Book Two for The Endurers series. Look for it towards the end of May. I will also be releasing a werewolf romance series, and a book contains four short stories regarding a fairy trapped in our world. It's going to get very exciting.
