Guest Blog and Giveaway with Robin Bielman

Hi everyone! It’s such a pleasure to be a guest here today on The Creatively Green Write At Home Mom. Thanks so much for having me, Wenona! We have lots in common. I’m a mom, a writer, and I do try to be green as much as I can.

In fact, when coming up with my heroes for my Take a Risk series from Entangled Publishing, I fell in love with the idea of having my guys be passionate about the environment. And so, my heritage preservationists were born. Keats McCall, the hero in my newest release, Risky Surrender, is the hotshot president of field operations for the largest international non-profit organization dedicated to preserving historic sites. He’s a do-good humanitarian, believes in his work one hundred percent, and loves outdoor adventures. He’ll risk just about anything for something—or someone—he believes in.

McCall travels the globe, is fearless and driven to feel. When he meets Lucy Davenport, he definitely feels something, and soon the lines blur between safeguarding a piece of history and protecting the woman he’s falling for. I hope readers fall head over heels for McCall as much as I have. In fact, I think there are plenty of reasons to adore historic preservationists…

1)    They like to get dirty. (And I don’t mean just outdoors.)
2)    They push the boundaries. These guys don’t play it safe…anywhere.
3)    Following along on their adventures could lead you to places you’ve only dreamed about.
4)    They go where the action is.
5)    Green is their favorite M&M candies color.
6)    They work well with their hands.
7)    They have an appreciation for how things are built.
8)    They like to do it in exotic locales.

So there you have it, my reasons to get hooked on heritage preservationists. They sound pretty irresistible, don’t they? hee hee I had a blast writing McCall and Lucy’s story and continuing my series into the world of heritage protection and I’d love to hear from you all. If you could travel anywhere in the world where would it be?
