Interview with KM Hager

Please share a little about yourself, your genres, any other pen names you use.

I’m a mother to two children, or what they like to call me, is their slave. I live in Devon where currently is the only place in Britain to get no snow just rain. My genre is young adult fantasy.

Tell us a little about your latest or upcoming release.

Tears of the fallen series is about fallen angels, and a young girls fight to save a child she never knew she had.

Are you a mom (or parent)?

Yes to two gorgeous children but they are extremely naughty and constantly fight.

If yes do you find it hard to juggle writing and parenting?

God yes, my eldest is constantly trying to steal the laptop off me, and when I say no, she like to make me feel guilty by saying I care about my book more than them lol.

Have you ever based your book or characters on actual events or people from your own life?

I like to think Amy has some of my traits in her but know it’s all fictional unfortunately; no handsome angel has ever falling in love with me.

Is there a theme or message in your work that you would like readers to connect to?

The message I wanted people to see was hope, and that even if you reach the very darkest corners of your life that something good can still enter your life and give you back your hope.

What would your readers be surprised to learn about you?

I’m a huge call of duty fan.

When you’re not writing what do you do? Do you have any hobbies or guilty pleasures?

The xbox is my guilty pleasure and my most recent guilty pleasure is celebrity big brother.

Which romance book or series (or other genre, if you don’t write romance) do you wish you had written?

The hunger games, their brilliant books.

Of all the characters you’ve ever written, who is your favorite and why?

Michael my favorite, the more I write about him the more I fall in love with him.

What is next for you? Do you have any scheduled upcoming releases or works in progress?

The third installment I will start to write soon and then who knows I might try something different.

What book are you reading now?

Lady killers by Martina Cole.

Book Description:

Colt Daniels is a Texas rancher known for his award winning steaks. The king rancher has known his good neighbor and vintner, Mr. Moon for years. When Mr. Moon dies and leaves the vineyard to his long lost niece, Savannah Moon, Colt offers to show her the ropes since the California girl is clueless, not only about Texas but about wine. Even his Southern Charm is lost on the snob who doesn't even have the decency to thank him for saving her life her first day in town.

Thing is, he ain't cut out to train someone he can't stand, even if Mr. Moon was like a grandfather to him. But there's no denying it, the Moons know how to grow 'em...wine and women. Savannah isn't a woman he can easily forget. Bitchy or not, he finds reasons to teach her about grapes, among other things. And while he's finding reasons to stomp the grapes with his new neighbor, a plan is brewing to bring the wine heiress down.
