It is so great to see that many large companies are making efforts to "go green". Some companies are changing the way they do business, package, and ship their products while others are simply changing their products.
Some companies create a new line of "green" products while other companies do a little bit of greening in many areas.
L'Oreal Professional is the latest company to get a little greener. In addition to reducing waste and recycling which earned them a spot in the list of the 100 Most Sustainable Companies in the World for both 2008 and 2009 and a Natural Health Green Choice Award for 2009 they have now introduced a line of green haircare products.They have created a hybrid line of hair products that are more eco-friendly while still delivering the results consumers want.
"Traditionally, consumers have been challenged to find haircare products that are both eco-friendly and effective," said Alejandro Lopez, Vice President and General Manager of L'Oreal Professional USA. "So when we developed Serie Nature, it was our mission to create a natural world without compromising the efficacy for which L'Oreal Professional is known." Consumers no longer have to choose between eco-friendly and effective products. Now with L'Oreal Serie Nature they can have both- in one product.
