Music is a pretty big inspiration for me while I’m
writing. I visualize my story as I’m writing it – when it’s like a movie
playing in my head, that’s when I know I’m onto something good. And of course,
music plays a big role in evoking the mood in scenes when you watch films. Some
of the songs below line up with specific scenes, while others just fit the
overall mood I was in while I was writing. Warning:
some mild plot spoilers are below.

This is what I heard in my head
during the nightclub scene when Kat defends Bronwyn from Hannah’s attack. You
can just hear this thumping on the sound system when Kat has her showdown with
Queen Bee Hannah.
