Are you a mom?
I am a proud mother of two boys.
If yes do you find it hard to juggle writing and parenting?
Not really. I have an eleven year old and a fourteen year old who do not need me as much as they used to. They tend to spend their free time with their friends from the neighborhood. This leaves me with uninterrupted time to write.
Have you ever based your book or characters on actual events or people from your own life?
My main protagonist is a Green Beret. Rob, my protagonist, and my brother both share that trait.
What would your readers be surprised to learn about you?
I teach literature by day to pay for my writing habit.
When you’re not writing what do you do? Do you have any hobbies or guilty pleasures?
I read. A. LOT. Erotic romantic suspense books are my guilty pleasure.
Of all the characters you’ve ever written, who is your favorite and why?
Rob and Lola are my favorite characters. They are the protagonists in the new release, “Stronger (The Unit 2).” They talked to me so much while I was writing the book that I got to know them on a very personal level. Rob is a tough warrior with a soft heart and Lola is a down-to-earth, rich girl who is brave and strong.
If this book is part of a series…what is the next book? Any details you can share?
“Harder (The Unit 3)” is the final book in the series, which is slated to be released in January of 2015. Tony will finally have his time in the spotlight. Tony, along with Michael, Steve, and Rob (The Unit) will be assigned a dangerous mission. Someone from Tony’s past reappears and sparks fly.
