Hi, Creatively Green readers! I have been living the Keto life for about 1.5 years, and one of my favorite go-to recipes is an Almond Milkshake 3-Ways.
The only equipment you’ll need is a personal blender.
All three versions start with the same base:
~10 oz unsweetened almond milk
~2-3 TBSP of your favorite sugar replacement. I use MonkSweet, a combination of Stevia and Monk Fruit extract with a 1:1 sugar ratio.
~A splash of vanilla extract
~ 2 oz unsweetened coconut milk *Can be replaced with heavy cream or a scoop of protein powder. Don’t be afraid to play around with these!*
Cinnamon Almond Milkshake additional ingredients:
~ 1-2 oz of your choice of either heavy cream or Neufchatel/cream cheese or, for a dairy free option, add more unsweetened coconut milk. *The heavy cream will give you a nice creamy result. Neufchatel or cream cheese will also result in a creamy consistency with a hint of cheesecake tanginess. The coconut milk isn’t as creamy, but it helps keep those carbs down and the dairy out.*
~ .5 tsp cinnamon
~ .5 cup ice *TIP: freeze coffee and use these cubes instead. They won’t water down your milkshake and they’ll add an awesome dash of flavor!*
Strawberry Almond Milkshake additional ingredients:
Continue this one similar to the cinnamon shake.
~ .5 cup of frozen strawberries. Replace the ice with frozen strawberries. No artificial flavoring, and the ice won’t water down your drink! But if you’re low-carb or keto, be careful with this one. Make sure you have enough carbs left to indulge in a serving of berries.
Chocolate Almond Milkshake additional ingredients:
~ 1-2 oz of heavy cream or, for a dairy free option, add more unsweetened coconut milk. *The only difference here is I do not recommend adding Neufchatel/cream cheese to the chocolate shake. It may be a matter of personal taste, but I don’t care for the way it combines with the cocoa/cacao.*
~ 2 TBSP of unsweetened cocoa or cacao powder *Check your carbs! Some cocoa/cacao powders have higher carbs than others, so make sure you saved room for a dessert before you down this shake.*
~ .5 cups frozen coffee cubes *Of course you can use regular ice here, but the coffee ice is so much better! Always keep a tray in your freezer.*
For all three versions: add all ingredients to your blender and give it a whirl! It’s that easy.
Thank you for letting me drop in and share!
I hope you love these Almond Milkshakes 3-Ways! Stay sweet and healthy!

Book Description:
Layla
While chaos consumes Maganthia, deep below the city in the Dark Vault, terror consumes Layla. Ava's servants meet tonight, and the enemy has taken Quin, forcing Layla to choose. Will she find the strength to follow her fated path and protect the servants? Or will she follow the love of her life and let the world burn?
Quin
Quin never took his eyes off Layla as he stood on the balcony of Heavens Hall, not until a hand came down on his head and his world went black. Now, everything he cares about is in jeopardy as Layla races the clock, but Quin remains at the mercy of the enemy, unconscious, useless and dying.
The Enemy
For thousands of years, the Dark Guild strove to reclaim the realm of humanity for the Lord of the Underworld. Now their dedication has paid off. They've sabotaged the angel, procured the coordinates to the servants' meeting, collected the power in Ava's blood, and discovered the key to enter her tomb. Tonight, they raise hell.
Excerpt:
Right or wrong, Layla held their verdict on the edge of the executioner’s sword, and everyone who’d invaded the island would suffer the same fate. She didn’t have time to weigh their crimes – the murderers, voyeurs and brainwashed. Whatever part they’d played in the tragedies unfolding, they stood guilty on the brink of humanity’s destruction, and so they’d face her retribution. But before swinging the blade, Layla scanned the civilians for children, relieved to find none.
Not a shimmer of evidence exposed her as she planted her feet on the ancient cobblestone walkway. Then she raised her invisible palms and summoned her wall. She knew the magic worked as soon as she heard the outer guards’ shouts, which turned to screams the moment her deadly cloud caught up with its prey. They didn’t scream for long. The jet stream grew stronger as it contracted around the mountaintop like a savage rubber band, scorching people and plants alike.
