Please share a little about yourself, your genres, any other pen names you use.
I am a fulltime high school English teacher who has a passion for writing. I have been married for eight years and I have a dog – the world’s most adorable yellow lab. My writing began on yellow legal pads, but today, I sit on the middle cushion of my couch with my feet on my coffee table and my laptop on my lap. I write contemporary romance novels.
Tell us a little about your latest or upcoming release.
My latest release is the first book in the He Feels Trilogy, titled How He Really Feels. Book two is scheduled for release October 3, and the title is What He Really Feels.
What would your readers be surprised to learn about you?
I didn’t have any beta readers before releasing my first novel.
When you’re not writing what do you do? Do you have any hobbies or guilty pleasures?
I teach high school English, so when I’m not writing during the school year, I’m probably grading papers! My hobbies are traveling, shopping, and walking my dog with my hubby. My guilty pleasure is reality TV! I especially love the Bachelor and Bachelorette!
Of all the characters you’ve ever written, who is your favorite and why?
I have two. One is from my next series, and the other is Travis Miller from the He Feels Trilogy. How He Really Feels leaves Travis’s story hanging, and he has an amazing story to tell in the second book of this trilogy! A lot of people had a lot of things to say about Travis after reading the first book, and when I wrote his story, I fell for him more and more, and I hope you do, too!
What is in your to read pile?
My TBR is starting to get out of control… off the top of my head, I want to read Wallbanger by Alice Clayton, Tarryn Fisher’s Love Me With Lies Trilogy, Christina Lauren’s Beautiful Bastard series, Collide and Pulse by Gail McHugh, Lick by Kylie Scott, and anything by Colleen Hoover, S. C. Stephens, and Jamie McGuire. I just bought Burn by Maya Banks so I have the Breathless trilogy in paperback, but I haven’t started it yet because I’ve been editing What He Really Feels.
