Guest Blog - The Assassin’s Daughter by Shana Vernon #urbanfantasy

My name is Shana Vernon, and I live in Israel with my husband and triplet baby boys. :)

Being “Green” has been something I’ve taken very seriously ever since I had my first environmental science class in high school.

From then on, I have made every effort to be more conscious of the environment and my impact.

Sometimes, being more environmentally conscious makes life a little less convenient, but we get to help keep our world beautiful for our children and grandchildren. Which is a big priority for us. :)

In our home, we have two main things we do (besides recycling) to help the environment. We do not use any single use plastics, and we put cloth diapers on our babies. Doing that helps the earth and the diapers are super cute! Win-Win in my book!

Babies, on average, use about 7,000 diapers in their lifetime before they are potty trained. Multiply that by three and we would have used 21,000 diapers!! Diapers do not biodegrade and stay in landfills for hundreds of years.

So changing one thing about our life, makes such a HUGE difference for the world. Yes, cloth diapers do require a little more effort, but the results more than make up for it.

Book Description:

I've been hiding from the Guild since I was born.

If they knew about my magic, they would kill me in a heartbeat.

I should be avoiding them, but instead, I enter the Guild as a regular human recruit.

Why?

Papa went missing after a mission, and I need answers.

I realize I might have bitten off more than I can chew when my new instructor is the guy I kissed a few months before.

It doesn't seem like Cade recognizes me without my disguise, but if he does and blows the whistle, I'm as good as dead and so is Papa.
