Release Day Blitz The Wedding Dress by Lisa Mondello

What girl doesn’t dream about her wedding?  I sure did.  It doesn’t matter if it’s lavish or something small.  We think about it.  At the center of that wedding, aside from the man she’s going to marry, is what a girl will wear: the wedding dress.

A year ago, a group of authors and myself met at a conference and talked about ways to create a series within a series.  Each of our books will be connected to one of our own series, but all of the books in the “collection” would also be part of a connective series.  One of the authors thought up the idea of having a billionaire will “something” to either the hero or the heroine in our book and the story could go from there.  The name of the collection is The Inheritance Collection http://www.theinheritanceseries.com.

Each of the authors thought up a story about how they encountered Harold Hopewell, a billionaire widower who had no children and was leaving random items to people who had met him and touched him in some way.  As I thought about it, I instantly knew that I wanted my story to revolve around a vintage wedding dress being willed to my heroine Hannah Ward in The Wedding Dress, book 7 of my Texas Hearts series.  The wedding dress was the dress Harold’s wife had worn when they’d gotten married, but that she’d sold very early on to gift her new husband with money that helped him make his fortune.

Sounds romantic, huh?  I thought so too.  But I had to figure out how Hannah Ward, a young Texas woman and former Army mechanic, became the benefactor of the dress.  Since it was around the time of wedding season, I’d found a lot of catalogs at the supermarket and restaurants announcing wedding shows.  One in particular talked about vintage dresses that were available at a consignment shop. So I wondered, what if it wasn’t a shop but it was an actual auction where the dress was being sold?  And what if Harold Hopewell, now elderly and still mourning the passing of his wife after decades went to the same auction that a very young Hannah Ward goes to in order to find the perfect dress to wear when she elopes with her childhood sweetheart, Dane Bancroft?  The only problem is, Hannah is practically broke and Harold is a billionaire who easily outbids her, leaving her devastated.

Fast forward ten years.  Hannah is now out of the Army and she receives this wedding dress in the mail from a lawyer who is charged with dispersing items in Harold Hopewell’s will.  In the letter, Harold apologizes for outbidding her on the dress and says that while it might be too late for Hannah to wear the dress, he wants her to give it to her daughter in the hopes that she can be as happy as he was with his wife.  The only wrinkle is, Hannah doesn’t have a daughter because Hannah never ended up marrying Dane.  The dress opens up old wounds for Hannah and Dane and makes them examine why they parted in the first place. Young love becomes new love that is much deeper and magical in ways they’d never expected.

I love The Wedding Dress because I love reunion and second chance stories.  There’s so much history there and so many things the hero and heroine need to resolve before they can move forward.   In the end, it’s never about the perfect dress. That’s just fabric.  It’s about the love that weaves two special people together to want to spend a lifetime as husband and wife.

Excerpt:

It was just a box with fabric inside.
Hannah gazed at the white box that had come with the letter with longing for time that has long since passed her by.  Although she’d stared at the dress in the auction catalogue for hours before deciding to drive to San Antonio more than ten years ago, she’d only seen that wedding dress up close for just a few minutes before it had been snatched away from her by the higher bidder.
She was a smart women.  She didn’t need the dress.  Or the memories that were now tumbling through her mind.  Good and bad, they were all there together.  The wedding dress had been the start of it all.  And the end.
Sighing, she got up from the bed and walked over to the box that sat like a tangled blanket at the foot of the bed after a rough night of sleep.  The wide white organza ribbon was tied tightly around the box to keep it secure and then knotted into a pretty bow on top.  With a quick tug of the organza, the ribbon untied and fell to each side of the box.
Her heart pounded as her fingers felt for the edges of the box.  She didn’t want to see the dress.  Not really.  Why was she doing this?  She should just put it in her car and drive right over to the consignment shop in the next town and let someone else buy the dress for their wedding.  Get rid of it.  Get rid of the memory.
She lifted the top of the box off and placed it carefully on the bed next to the box.  Pink and white tissue paper covered the contents, keeping her from seeing inside.
“Ugh.  For an army soldier who has spent the last eight years in combat boots and fatigues, you’re being a wimp, Hannah.”
She reached for the tissue paper, then quickly stopped and looked at her hands, turning them over.  Most days her hands were covered with grease and oil from working on a plane engine.  Today her hands were clean.  Even her fingernails showed the white half-moon nails that were clean.
Hannah held her breath as she pushed aside the tissue paper and had her first glimpse of the dress.  A lump lodged in her throat as she thought of the day of the auction.  This was supposed to be her wedding dress.  If she’d married Dane all those years ago, she would have worn this dress.  Who knew what their lives would be like now.
Taking a deep breath, she slipped out of her T-shirt, unbuttoned her cut off shorts and let them drop to the floor.  She carefully lifted the sleeveless dress out of the box, holding it by the shoulders and let the fabric drop to the floor.  There were a million buttons in the back and she knew she’d have a hard time fastening them all.  But she had to see what she looked like in the dress.  It took a while, but when the last button was fastened, she walked across the room to the mirror and looked at her reflection.
“This never would have fit me like this ten years ago,” Hannah said, staring at herself in the standing mirror.  But now, it fit perfect.  It was as if she needed to grow out of the young girl’s body and become the woman she was now in order for it to fit.
Tears filled her eyes but she refused to let them fall.  Reaching behind her to undo the first button, she muttered, “It would have been nice.”
A gust of breeze came in through the open window.   Along with it, Hannah heard the sound of male voices talking.  Jackson had gone out for a ride earlier with Cole.  There were other ranch hands here now.
Her stomach dropped.  It wasn’t just Cole or Jackson.  If she lived a thousand years, Hannah would always recognize the deep timber of Dane Bancroft’s voice.
Still wearing the dress, Hannah rushed to the window and pulled back the curtain just enough to see outside.  She groaned.
“You would have to show up today.  Of all days,” Hannah muttered to herself as her heart pounded in her chest.  She gazed down from the window to the dirt driveway below.  Dane Bancroft stood next to Jackson, talking about something interesting that made them both laugh.
He was as tall as Jackson, but he wasn’t the straight up and down young man she remembered.  His police uniform did little to show off the muscles she knew were under his shirt.
Just when she thought she couldn’t take anymore, Dane lifted his face up in the direction of the window.  Their eyes locked for a brief moment.  It took a few seconds, but then he smiled, making Hannah’s heart remember what it was like to be close to him.  She actually sighed.

Damn him.

ISBN: 9781101886588
ASIN:  B00VZZ2PA2

Number of pages: 232
Word Count: 65,000-words

Book Description:

Amelia Parker has booked a two-week vacation to Maui to surprise her boyfriend on their second anniversary. She works as a concierge in a boutique hotel in Manhattan. Her boss demands she cancels her vacation because her back-up has quit, leaving him without coverage for a major convention. Amelia won’t be able to get her money back and her boss won’t reimburse her. When she stands firm about still going on the vacation she booked a year ago, she gets fired. Amelia goes back home to her boyfriend’s apartment that she shares with him. She catches him in bed with the barista of her favorite coffee shop.

Amelia is out of a job

Out of an apartment

Out of a relationship

And shit out of coffee

When Amelia arrives in Maui, newly single and unemployed, she’s shocked to discover the resort she booked is actually a ramshackle little beachside hotel. At least the scenery is easy on the eyes—as is the toned, laid-back snorkel instructor, “Dude.” After two weeks of sun, serenity, and mind-blowing sex, she even accepts a job as the hotel’s concierge. But what Amelia really wants is to relaunch the place completely. And that means convincing the absentee Wall Street billionaire owner, Samuel Kincaide, to take a chance on her.

Samuel has a plan, too: selling off every last reminder of his former life and chilling all day, every day as his slacker alter ego . . . Dude. He loves his romps in the ocean, and under the sheets, with the feisty Amelia. If she discovers his true identity, her boundless enthusiasm and innovative business plan will seriously diminish his hammock time. But when Amelia runs into real trouble on the island, he’ll put everything on the line to keep her safe. He just hopes that the woman who’s falling for Dude will feel the same about Samuel.

Excerpt:

This couldn’t be happening to her. When she’d seen the ad for the all-inclusive resort in Hawaii last year, it had been like a dream come true. Fishing around under her desk, Amelia pulled out the brochure. It was creased and wrinkled from her having looked at it a million times. The hotel was shaped like a horseshoe around a gigantic pool and tiki bar. The beach in the distance showed cerulean blue waves with just a hint of whitecaps. She wanted to be on that beach so much, her teeth ached.
“Can you have this dry-cleaned?” A guest shoved a large plastic bag over the counter, knocking over her pirate’s chest of wrapped candy.
“Sure,” Amelia said, taking the bag. Once she got the guest’s room number and laundry preferences, she tagged the bag and called in a pickup at one of the local laundries. Then she booked a few more theater and dinner reservations and gave out some walking maps of the city. By the time she got back to her brochure, it was around three in the afternoon.
“Nine a.m. island time,” she said, dialing the resort’s number.
It rang and rang. No one picked up. No one picked up an hour later, either. Finally, around five o’clock her time, a groggy voice drawled into the phone.
“Whatchu want?”
“Um, is this the Palekaiko Beach Resort?”
“It is, sistah,” the voice said in a warm, smiling voice that made her toes tingle. “What can I do for you?”
She could almost picture him leaning against a desk like hers. Only his view wasn’t icy sleet and gray drabness, but lush greens and ocean blue. Shaking herself back into the present, she said, “I need to change my reservation.”
“I’m sorry, but I don’t know where Hani is right now.”
“Who’s Hani?” she asked.
He yawned. “He’s in charge of all that.”
“Who are you?”
“They call me Dude.”
“Seriously?”
“Ya, as in I’m the dude that teaches snorkeling. The phone was harshing my buzz, so I answered it.”
“Isn’t it before noon there?” Amelia was giddy at the thought of drinking before noon.
“It’s five o’clock somewhere, sunshine.”
That it is. She scowled at the mermaid clock on the wall. “Look, do you know when Hani will be back?”
He sighed. “No. In fact, I don’t see Kai or Makoa around either. Must’ve gone surfing.”
Amelia’s breath caught. “How are the waves, there?”
“Here, we’ve got some storm surge but down the coast there’s some beach break.”
“Are they . . . gnarly?” Amelia tried out some slang.
His husky laugh sent a shiver up her spine. “You should come see for yourself, sweet thing.”
There was one little problem with that. Her excitement deflated like a balloon, complete with the raspberry noise. “That’s actually the reason why I’m calling. I need to switch dates on my reservation. I know it’s last-minute, but my boss canceled my vacation.”
“Sounds like an asshole.”
Vindication surged through her and she looked quickly around, but the desk crew were the only ones around. “He is,” she whispered. “He wants me to move my two-week vacation to May.”
“Aw, honey, I’m afraid we can’t do that.”
“Why not? It’s all right if you have to charge me a fee.”
“Nah, you don’t understand. We ain’t gonna be here in May.”
“What?” She heard a screeching sound in her head.
“The big kahuna is selling and the new owners will tear it down to build condos.”
“Oh, no!,” she said. “Can I get my money back?”
“We can credit your card.”
“No,” Amelia said. “I paid by check. Monthly. For over a year. I sent in the last payment a month ago.”
“Hm,” he said. “Well, I’m sure something can be done. The kahuna is a big shot. If you write him a letter, he can fix you up.”
Amelia’s hand was shaking as she grabbed her pen. “What’s his name?”
“Samuel Kincaide.”
“I see.” She tried to keep the tears out of her voice.
“Don’t cry, wahine.”
She didn’t trust her voice. “I d-don’t want my money back. I want to go on my dream vacation.”
“Then come on.”
“I’ll get in trouble,” she said with a watery giggle.
“I get it,” Dude said. “But your kahuna sounds like a grade-A prick.”
“So does yours.”
He barked out a loud laugh. “I tell you what—you come on down and I’ll buy you a drink.”
She sniffled. “What’s the weather like down there?”
“It’s a little chilly today. It’s about seventy-five.”
Amelia bit back a moan. Seventy-five! She had a cute little sundress all picked out that would be perfect with a little lacy shawl.
“But that’s because of the wind. Once the wind dies down later this afternoon should be about ninety.”
This time she did let out a moan.
“Where are you calling from?” he asked, his voice sounding like honey over gravel.
“Manhattan.”
“Sistah, get on the plane.” He chuckled. “That’s a no-brainer.”
“What’s the worst he can do?” Amelia said, almost to herself.
“Are you a doctor?”
“Doctor?” She huffed in surprise. “No, I’m a concierge.”
“So no one’s life depends on you while you’re on vacation?”
“I don’t even have a cat.”
“If he fires you, can you survive?”
Amelia thought about it. Jay might be pissed. Although, truth be told, he really didn’t care about stuff like that. That’s what she liked about him. There were no problems, no troubles. In fact, he had asked her to move in when she didn’t have a job, so it probably wouldn’t be that big a deal. If worse came to worst, they’d eat ramen noodles for a few months until she got into another hotel. They could rekindle their relationship over a shared misery and look over the pictures of their once-in-a-lifetime vacation.
“Sistah, you still there?”
“Unfortunately.” She sighed.
“Look, you gotta do what you gotta do. I’ll make sure the kahuna gives you all your money back. He listens to me. You got no worries. You make sure you have no regrets.”
“Thanks,” she said. While the phone was cradled between her neck and shoulders, she rubbed her arms to stave off the chill as she stared dejectedly out the window. The sleet just kept coming down in gray icy waves. “I really appreciate that.”
“I got to tell you, though, that I’ve got a bucket of Coronas just waitin’ to be shared. I’ll even throw in a free snorkel lesson. Come find me.”
“Where are you going to be?” Her mouth curved into a smile.
“In my hammock. Just ask for Dude.”
“Dude?”
“Yes, sweet thing?”
“I’ll see you tomorrow.”
“That’s my girl.”
Amelia hung up and started shaking her head. Mr. Kensington would be disappointed, but he wouldn’t really fire her, right? She was the only experienced concierge he had, and she was a hard worker. She always picked up extra shifts and never complained. So he’d have to hire a temp, or get one of the desk staff to fill in for a few days. Most of them were native New Yorkers and could recommend restaurants. All of her contacts for shows and tours were on the computer. It was just customer service. She’d even stay extra late tonight to help train them. And she’d only be gone two weeks. It was only right that she took the vacation that had been booked and approved a year ago. She’d earned it. And she and Jay needed it. She couldn’t even remember the last time they’d had sex. Amelia needed to put her relationship first. Straightening her shoulders, she marched into Kensington’s office to tell him the bad news.
Amelia trudged to the bus stop with all of her personal belongings in a large plastic garbage bag. She no longer cared about avoiding icy puddles, because she was already soaked through.
By the time she got off at her stop, Zarafina was long gone, and the café where Quinn worked was closed. Too bad—she could have used another shot of caffeine. It felt like it was taking an eternity to get to her apartment. All she wanted was a nice hot shower and to put on soft wool socks. She’d tell Jay about losing her job after Maui. No sense ruining his fun. And if she started to stress, she’d just order more rum drinks. She deserved this vacation.
“I can’t believe that rat fink Kensington fired me,.” she told her reflection in the elevator.
Opening the door to her apartment, she dumped her belongings on the floor. Crap, she thought—she’d forgotten to pick up dinner. When she didn’t bring home dinner, Jay got cranky. Oh, well, they’d have to get delivery tonight. Thai sounded good. Or maybe a nice hot steaming bowl of pho? Squishing toward the bedroom, she heard loud moaning sounds.
“Yes, yes, yes!”
Great. Jay’s watching porn in surround sound again.
Shaking her head, she pushed open the bedroom door. Whatever witty remark she had prepared died when she realized it was live action instead of Internet porn.
Quinn in all her naked glory was bouncing on top of Jay, whose fingers were biting into Quinn’s butt so hard, he was going to leave marks.
Amelia’s feet were frozen in place. She opened her mouth to speak, but nothing came out. Tears pricked at the corners of her eyes, but as she helplessly watched Quinn working toward orgasm, she wasn’t surprised.
Hurt. Betrayed. Pissed. But not surprised.
Is it wrong that I’m madder about losing my morning coffee?
Quinn’s head tilted back as she spewed a litany of swear words. Jay lay flat on his back with his eyes closed and let her do all the work.
Typical.
It was then she realized that her relationship had problems that even Maui couldn’t solve. She didn’t love Jay; otherwise she’d be more upset. He didn’t love her; otherwise he wouldn’t be banging the barista.
“You’re going to put somebody’s eye out with those,” Amelia said, finding her voice as Quinn’s big breasts heaved up and down.
Quinn shrieked and tried to cover up.

Jay pushed her over and sat up. “Babe, you’re home early.”

Interview and Giveaway with ME Yildirim

Welcome, Please share a little about yourself, your genres, any other pen names you use.

Hello, thank you for having me! :) I am a Public Relations specialist, a poet, an author, a wife and a down to earth person... when I am not writing, that is. My mother is the one who had inculcated respect and love for written stories in me and taught not to judge a book by its cover. She is a bookworm, like me, although I can see her frowning at the term. She has always encouraged me to choose my own reading material and never shy away from topics that might seem uncomfortable. So I was raised in the spirit of making my own decisions. I had chosen Literature and History as my main focus while still in high school and they remained my passion till this very day. I had worked in a PR Agency, small companies, a big consortium and even in the Military. Yet none of it could ever compare to the adventures of creating and building up my own characters and stories. I write Paranormal and Contemporary Romance, probably because those are also two genres I love to read the most myself. Our favorite reads stay with us, influence us, maybe even challenge us to pick up the gauntlet and try to be a part of this world too. I also write poetry, I published a collection of 70 poems titled “Whispered Out Loud” at the beginning of this year. If I recall correctly, poems are where it all has started for me before I wrote my first novel. I don't use any pen names.

Tell us a little about your latest or upcoming release.

CUL-DE-SAC” is my first Contemporary Romance written after my Paranormal series “Chastity Point”. It was supposed to be a stand alone, but in a mysterious way it grew on me to the point where it morphed into a series. I have ideas for more books to come in the series titled “On The Edge”. “CUL-DE-SAC” is about love, but not the kind that evokes fuzzy feelings and is all about poetry and flowers. It's about an unapologetic and unembellished force that shakes the lives of Catalina and Xan to the point where they can't see up from down anymore.

Excerpt from Chapter 50

Catalina realized that love wasn’t always pretty and about living high on emotions. It wasn’t this romantic notion she had always been envisioning either. It was raw, powerful, leaving a person naked and bruised but you held on to it anyway no matter what.

She wasn’t going to give up on him just because it seemed convenient to so many people. She would not say goodbye just because he was too untamed and his armor too tattered to suit her romantic visions. She wasn’t a child and she knew better than anyone that fairy tales were just that–tales.

End of excerpt

They have absolutely nothing in common, all separates them yet the fickle bitch known as Fate causes their paths to cross and all hell breaks loose.

Are you a mom?

I am not a mom, but I foster a four-months-old German Shepherd and I swear he runs me ragged ;)

Is there a theme or message in your work that you would like readers to connect to?

There is always a message, the whole point of the story where it all comes to in the end. What would be the purpose of writing without it after all? My main point is always to show and emphasize, time and time again, that second chances do happen. They usually come in a different shape and form than we could expect and while we are completely, utterly undone and unprepared for it. Yet, this is life and we make of it what we can. “CUL-DE-SAC” is first and foremost about not judging a book by its cover, realizing that there is always much more to people that meets the eye. However, every reader finds something else in stories. As Carlos Ruiz Zafón said; “Books are mirrors: you only see in them what you already have inside you.”

What would your readers be surprised to learn about you?

I am as stubborn and restless as the characters I create and “CUL-DE-SAC” is my first Contemporary Romance written in English. I had published a Contemporary Romance in my own language a few years back. Also, whenever I read or hear a word “semi” it makes me think of erections ;)

When you’re not writing what do you do? Do you have any hobbies or guilty pleasures?

I have plenty of hobbies I don't always find time to pursue and enjoy. I collect many things-old books for one-the more weathered by time the better. Stones and minerals-I am interested in their characteristics. Photography, I see or take a picture and like to imagine which words could go with it and why. My guilty pleasure? Fudge! And no, I didn't mean it as a bad word, but a desert I have a weakness for :)

Is there a genre(s) that you’d like to write that you haven’t tackled yet?

I have moments of weakness when I am considering an erotic novella, but I don't think I am built for novellas in general. I don't see much point to writing something that ends before it really had a chance to start for good. I like a slow build-up, tension and in novella you need to hurry it all up.

Of all the characters you’ve ever written, who is your favorite and why?

I love tormented and tragic characters. They need to be strong to endure all the hardship I throw their way ;) Ciarán Blane, the alpha male from the second book in my "Chastity Point" series holds a special place in my heart. He is moody, volatile and his unpredictability is hard to resist. Then there is Xan Thorpe, the main male character from “CUL-DE-SAC” who is tough and vulnerable at the same time. He is a fighter and not only in the most literal sense. They are all alphas to the core with a streak of wickedness to them and we all have inclination toward bad boys. It is part of our DNA code!

If this book is part of a series…what is the next book? Any details you can share?

The next book is about a character that made an appearance in “CUL-DE-SAC”. His name is Dante and he is a street car racer. He is a ladies' man who loves just about everything in women, but is going to hate the guts of the one that will cross him. I really can't say anything more about them, because I feel they will surprise me. A lot.

Date of Publication: September 25th 2015

ASIN: B01490125I

Book Description:

Sometimes feelings turn out to be the most lethal of adversaries.

He is known as Xan–an unapologetic king of an underground fighting arena who doesn't step out of the ring until a fight is over and won. Nothing matters to him as much as adding another victory to the tally. But who is Alexander Thorpe, the man behind the fierce stance, and what is he really fighting for? Brutal childhood and the rough reality of living on the streets create the perfect background for a relentless and merciless warrior, but is that really all there is to the man himself? Even winning can lose its appeal if a man doesn't know what is he really fighting for... or with whom?

“Perfect” is the word often used when it comes to Catalina Bennett, “privileged” is another. An entitled upbringing, private schools and extracurricular activities make for a flawless résumé, but they don't paint the whole picture of a person. As a photographer, she chooses to stand behind the camera, which is a perfect way of getting to know the world... without letting the world know her. Fostered by her grandmother after the loss of both parents at the tender age of ten, she is expected to bring nothing but honor to her family's name. Be nothing else than prim and proper, with no space left for her wants or needs.

But nothing can be denied forever.

Two completely different worlds of two individuals collide during an accidental event. But does coincidence really exist or do things happen for a reason? Life is made of seemingly unrelated moments, fragmented memories and betrayals influencing the reality, no matter the class a person is from.

Sooner or later, suppressed emotions and desires demand their due…

Im a self-published author who started this writing adventure about two years ago.  I loved writing poems in high school but stopped writing after high school.  I never really believed I could be a writer or share a story with anyone.  After I finished my bachelors degree, during my internship my director told me I could not write, and that my writing was at elementary level.  Unfortunately I believed her and continued to keep my words safely tucked away in special area of my brain.  One day my many thoughts finally decided it was time to be set free in the form of a dream, I woke and wrote it down immediately.  After my husband read the dream he said the most beautiful words.  He wanted to know more about the story, and thought I really had a story to tell.  Two years later I have a series that continues to evolve and will be introducing some fun characters.  What I love about this writing opportunity are the many different things we can learn about.  For book four I will be exploring all about burlesque for Shawna, and Im so excited to get to learn and then share with you.
Right now I only write contemporary romance.  I plan to write YA, NA, Erotica, and possibly explore paranormal.

My only pen name is Terra Kelly, but if I do write Erotica I will have to adjust my pen name for that genre.

Tell us a little about your latest or upcoming release.

Book two, Need You, has a special place in my heart and was the reason I started this writing adventure.  The story is about Alyssa, Alex, and Alyssas daughter Lexie, who plays an important role in the story.  After Alyssa faces an extreme tragedy, her life is thrown upside-down and inside-out.  Alyssa struggles to move forward until she meets Alex.  This book shares some serious emotion and so much love on every page.

What would your readers be surprised to learn about you?

In high school I loved writing poems, they were usually some form of romance and shared my emotions in each sentence.  Also, for a high school project I wrote and illustrated a childrens story.  I still have the story tucked away and ready to be shared.
I have a severe hearing impairment and read lips to hear.  I love writing and reading, they are easier ways to communicate with people.

When youre not writing what do you do? Do you have any hobbies or guilty pleasures?

I have run a food blog for over five years at www.cafeterrablog.com.  I create recipes, write each blog post, and love styling each photo for my blog.  My passion for food lead me to share recipes in each book.

I love wine and bourbon.  To get me out of my pjs when Im not writing, I have fun holding wine tastings at local stores.  I love learning and doing taste pairings with wine and bourbon.

Is there a genre(s) that youd like to write that you havent tackled yet?

Since my niece will not be 18 for several more years, I promised her I would write a YA series.  All my books are way too steamy for her to read.  I also plan to write erotica and possibly paranormal someday,

If this book is part of a serieswhat is the next book? Any details you can share?

The next book I will be sharing is book three in The Winters Family Series.  The story is about Joshua Winters and Kenzie Waters.  They first met in high school, and now after 10 years apart Joshua doesnt plan to ever let her go.

What is next for you? Do you have any scheduled upcoming releases or works in progress?

I have started writing book three in The Winters Family Series, its set to publish in June 2015.  I will be writing book four in The Winters Family Series, it will be published in September.  Plus a fun addition, a novella about Alex and Alyssa from book two set to publish in December.

I plan to share more Winters Family Series additions next year, along with starting a new series.

Until Alex arrives in Boise.

About the Author:

A romance nerd at heart, I tend to find inspiration in my dreams, or when walking my dog.  My love for romance goes all the way back to when I was 15, and laying on my best friend’s bed reading romance books.  It only took me 25 years to start putting all my stories on paper….well actually a computer.  I was born and raised in Michigan, now live in the South in North Carolina.  So my accent sounds like a Yankee with a slight Southern drawl.  When I am not writing you will find me reading, or baking.

My real life romance started when I was just 19.  Now over 20 years later, my husband is not only my lover but my best friend.  We only raise furry kids, we have one dog and two cats.  Our animals are all rescues.

I am a foodie, who loves creating recipes.

Over four years ago I started a food blog at CafeTerraBlog.  My love for food is why each of my books will always share new recipes made by the characters.
I love connecting with my followers.  You can find me on Facebook and Twitter.  I will keep you up to date on what I am writing, book release dates, and so much more on my website.
